John Wentworth grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan where he played hockey throughout his academic career. John received a scholarship opportunity to play hockey at the college level following high school. However John’s plans soon changed after a visit to Sports Creek Raceway in Swartz Creek. John decided to train horses instead of going to college. He went on to drive and train standardbred horses in Ottawa, Canada, living there 8 months out of the year. John ended up being one of the leading drivers/trainers in North America.

Wanting to spend more time with family, John moved back to Michigan and started his real estate career. Since 2011, John Wentworth has been the leading RE/MAX agent in Michigan which lead him to grow a real estate team. Since 2016, his team has consecutively been the #1 RE/MAX team of Michigan. His success was built on a strong foundation of determination, integrity, and hard work. John focuses 100% of his attention on what he is doing and it is obvious in his success.
